HUMBLE (BUT DELICIOUS) BEGINNINGS.

The Byrd Family has been feeding central Indiana residents for nearly 70 years. It all started in 1952 with a family run custard shop called the Custard Kitchen. After additional family ventures, and years dreaming of his own place, Jonathan finally opened his own flagship location in Greenwood, Indiana. Since its inception in 1988, Jonathan Byrd’s has served millions of meals, while also delivering its experience to dozens of partner locations throughout the Indianapolis Metropolitan area through its extensive catering operation.

Since the original cafeteria, Jonathan Byrd’s culinary and hospitality empire has grown through the development of catering partnerships with a multitude of local businesses as well as the opening of 502 East Event Centre in 2015.
